Çagla Tükel, Phd, Director and Professor of the Center for Microbiology and Immunology and Professor of Microbiology, Immunology and Inflammation at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, has been elected as a fellow of the American Academy of Microbiology, the leadership group and scientific think-tank within the American Society for Microbiology. Fellows are elected annually through a highly selective, peer-reviewed process based on their records of scientific achievement and original contributions that have advanced microbiology.
